Everything was carved in marble. This was a room inside the Agra Red Fort. Through that middle door was a balcony over looking a moat, after that a long stretched field ran all the way to the backside of the Taj Mahal. (at Agra Fort)

The symmetry in India is unparalleled. I was walking through the Agra Red Fort and couldn’t believe the history that had been established here since the early 1400’s. (at Agra Fort)

After spending a few nights in Gangtok (North Eastern India) I arrived in Agra, which is known for the Agra Red Fort and The Taj Mahal. It was amazing to see so much history in so much detail. (at Agra Red Fort)

It’s people like this that keep us strong, that show us what we’re capable of. The ones who don’t give up and the ones who live everyday to the fullest. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met were in Gangtok. Down to earth, relaxed and kind. (at Gangtok)

I was amazed at the amount and size of bamboo they had! I knew Gangtok had incredible bamboo but nothing like this! (at Gangtok)

As we drove to my hotel in Gangtok (North Eastern India) I saw so many incredible waterfalls that came out of the mountains, the water was so fresh and clean and the greenery was vibrant. (at Gangtok, East Sikkim)

All across the town were small coloured flags. The flags had scriptures written in their local language, they’re also used for different festivals. (at Rumtek Monastery)

Around the Buddhist Monastery there were many monks walking and saying hymns while rotating these prayer bells. The prayer bells are said to rid the bad omens and welcome the new ones. (at Gangtok, East Sikkim)

This was the entrance to the Buddhist Monastery. After walking a few kilometres, I finally reached the top. All you could hear was Buddhist chantings of hymns from all directions. In the middle was the prayer room and the left/right had small classrooms filled with literature. (at Gangtok, East Sikkim)

After walking for a few kilometres, I ended up at one of the oldest Buddhist Monasteries in the Northern Part of India (Gangtok). After a rainy night, the morning smelt fresh and the air was clean. (at Gangtok, East Sikkim)

I woke up and went to explore the area around me. I found a Buddhist Temple that had houses behind it. These houses are what you see in the picture, this is where all the students of the Buddhist community live. (at Gangtok, East Sikkim)

This was one of my favourite spots along the path of the Himalayan Railway. It was just after a rainfall and the fog was rising from the trees. You could see tea fields for as far as the eye could see. It was incredible! (at Railway Station)

I continued my ride on the Himalayan Railway which took me through the towns and alongside the tea fields. These houses were nothing like I had seen before. Stacked on top of one another. (at Darjeeling)

This morning I had a chance to ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It’s one of the most popular ways of transportation within Darjeeling but is also one of the slowest. (at Golden Tips)

Behind the Buddhist Monastery there was a very narrow staircase going to the roof of a building. I climbed the staircase and saw the light shining through the clouds to the city of Darjeeling below. It was a breathtaking moment. (at Golden Tips)

After staying a few days in Darjeeling I began to explore around. I woke up before sunrise to walk to this Buddhist Monastery and hear the chanting of all the hymns and verses amongst the people. (at Darjeeling)

As the sun came up in the morning, the fog from the trees and forests began to rise. This picture is the moment that the sunlight hits the canopy first thing in the morning after a cold night. Behind this is the Himalaya Mountain Range. (at Tiger hill, Near Ghoom)

I spent my second morning in Darjeeling on top of a mountain. I left my hotel at 2am and hiked up to be there for sunrise. This breathtaking view is only there for a matter of seconds until the sun fully rises. This is the himalaya mountain range. (at Tiger hill, Near Ghoom)
